A SYMPHONY OF NATURE’S FINEST ELEMENTS

Hallikeld is a refreshing change in the world of packaged water, proudly based in the heart of North Yorkshire.

Having seen an opportunity to draw natural spring water from the local, ancient Sandstone aquifer that gives rise to the Hallikeld Spring, we couldn’t say no. REFRESHING WATER, RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES

At Hallikeld, our commitment to the environment runs deep — just like the ancient aquifers we draw from. With founding directors who are an environmental scientist and water engineers, we’re uniquely positioned to protect the water environment, ensuring it’s used sustainably and abstracted with the utmost efficiency. Our guiding ethos is simple: take only what nature can provide, and treat it with the care and respect it deserves.

Being manufacturers ourselves, we keep things close to home. Our water is abstracted and canned just metres apart — no lengthy tanker journeys or global shipping routes required. Our facility is a stone’s throw from our sources, managed by a dedicated local team of scientists, engineers, and staff who work alongside regional suppliers whenever possible.

From the very beginning, sustainability was central to our packaging decisions. Plastic? Lightweight, sure, but derived from fossil fuels and only recyclable a limited number of times. Glass? More eco-friendly but heavy, energy-intensive to produce, and costly to transport. Even cardboard was considered, but the technology isn’t there yet. That’s why we chose aluminium — light, locally producible, and infinitely recyclable. We believe in designing products for one sitting, knowing that our conscience is clearer without plastic in the picture.

Our commitment doesn’t end at packaging. Our facility is powered by a large solar array, minimising fossil fuel use and keeping our operations as green as possible.

Looking ahead, we’re determined to go further. EV deliveries (or maybe even hydrogen), collaborating with suppliers and regulators, and continually refining our processes are all on the horizon. The future needs to be green — perhaps with a touch of apple and blueberry.

It’s our water and our world — let’s keep it divine.
